Ada Elizabeth Norman

Ada Elizabeth Norman, 82, of Morganton died Tuesday, December 22, 2020.  Born in McDowell County, NC on May 1, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Cephus McNeely and Sue Emma Hawkins McNeely.  Ada was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and served as a caregiver for her family.

Mrs. Norman is survived by her brother, Tom McNeely (Carolyn) of White Pine, TN; sister, Mary Whisnant of Morganton; special niece, Rogina Hamby of Hudson, NC; and several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Malvin Glenn Norman; brothers, Junior, Paul, Joe, James, and Clyde McNeely; and sister, Ruby Chapman.

Ada will be available for viewing from 12 to 2 p.m., Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Burke Memorial Park.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
