Amy Elaine Sharp

Amy Elaine Sharp, 51, of Morganton, NC went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Born in Birmingham, AL on April 20, 1959, she was the daughter of Gerald G. Udstuen and Elaine Boatwright Udstuen of Morganton. Amy was an active member of First Presbyterian Church. Very active in her children’s lives, "Mom" was larger than life.In addition to her parents, Amy is survived by her husband, Will Dalton Sharp of the home; sons, Joshua Sharp of Brooklyn, NY, Jacob Sharp of the home, and Taylor Sharp of the home; a sister, Kelly Largent and husband, Dave, of Asheville, NC; and a nephew, Jeff Largent.A celebration of Amy’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Michael Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Sossoman Funeral Home. The cremated remains will be entombed in the church columbarium at a later time.
