Andrea McNeely Foxx

Andrea McNeely Foxx, 70, of Morganton, NC passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on July 22, 1947 in Burke County to the late Jacob Patrick McNeely and Ellie Mae McNeely.

Andrea was a lifetime member of North Morganton United Methodist Church.  She retired from Leviton where she worked in payroll and finance.  Andrea graduated from Morganton High School and King’s Business College in Charlotte and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors at Western Piedmont Community College.

In addition to her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by her son, “Skipper” Foxx and sister, Rebecca Staron.

Those left to cherish her memory are siblings, Susan Paterno and companion, Jackie Clarke of Morganton and Charles McNeely and wife, Valerie of Parrish, FL.  Also surviving are nephews and nieces, Robert Paterno, Tony Paterno, wife, Tara, and great niece, Abby Shea “Abby Cakes” Paterno, Cindy Stone, Leonard, Chase, Josh, and Jason McNeely, Sandy Marlow, April and Staci Story, Wendy Martin, and canine companion, “Montana”.

A private entombment will be held Monday, March 12, 2018.  The celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2018 at North Morganton United Methodist Church with Rev. Burt Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.
