Andrew “Drew” Keith Bowers

Andrew “Drew” Keith Bowers, 28, of Morganton, N.C. passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019. Born on March 30, 1991 in Burke County, he was the son of Frank Keith Bowers and Ruth Bowers. Drew was a member of Burkemont Baptist Church. Drew graduated from Freedom High School in Morganton in 2009, and attended Appalachian State University. He created apparel brand NOVA Clothing Company, in which he was widely known and supported. Drew enjoyed the game of golf, spending time with his family and friends, exploring North Carolina’s mountains, supporting the Carolina Panthers, listening to music, and always had a heart for animals (including his current dog, Mia, Izzy the snake, Ranger, Sammy, Cocoa, Bo, Frisky, Grey Kitty and Hampy). He will always be remembered for his kind spirit and loving heart, including all of those around him to make them feel loved.

Drew is survived by his parents, Keith Bowers and Ruthie Bowers and fiancé, Don Pollard; Keith’s significant other, Dee Dee Norris; sister, Caroline Bowers; maternal grandparents, Carole and Clyde Hodge of Rutherfordton; a number of aunts and uncles; numerous cousins; many friends.

Drew is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Frank and Patsy Bowers of Morganton.

The funeral will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at First United Methodist Church in Morganton with Pastor Jaime Torres officiating. The family will receive friends outside following the service.
