Angela Crowe Lassiter, 40 of Candler, NC passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014. She was born in Burke County on May 30, 1974 to Boyce and Kathy Barger Crowe.
Angela was a member of Stoney Fork Baptist Church in Candler, NC. She sang in the church choir, taught Sunday school and was loved by all who met her. Angela was a beloved wife and mother.
In addition to her parents, Angela is survived by her husband, Joe Lassiter of the home; daughters, Katelyn Lassiter of Hendersonville, NC and Sarah Lassiter of the home; a brother, Kelly Crowe and his wife, Kelly, of Morganton; a half-sister, Krystal Smith; her maternal grandmother, Lucy Barger of Morganton; a niece, Kasey Crowe; and nephews, Kaleb and Korey Crowe all of Morganton.
Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray Barger, and Dolson and Cora Crowe.
The funeral service for Angela will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Moneyham and the Rev. Jeff Massey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
