Ann Fisher Dale

Ann Fisher Dale, 82, of Morganton, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 2, 2012 following a period of declining health. Born in Burke County, NC on March 13, 1930, Ann is the daughter of Eva Jane Fisher. She was a faithful member of Burkemont Baptist Church for 59 years. Ann retired from Alba Waldensian after 30 years. She loved her family life and being with her church family.Ann is survived by her grandchildren, Kevin Brian Dale of Morganton and Amy Denise Snow of Lenoir, NC; great-grandchildren, Brandon Snow of Morganton, William Snow of Yadkinville, Josh Snow of Yadkinville, and Brittney Snow of Morganton; a daughter-in-law, Nancy C. Dale of Morganton; and special friends, Wanda Rose and Crystal Smith, both of Morganton.In addition to her mother, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Edward Dale; and a son, James Edward Dale.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Burkemont Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Mark Pridgen and Rev. Eddy Bunton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Burkemont Baptist Church Building Fund, 4668 Burkemont Road, Morganton, NC 28655. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
