Ann H. Saulman

Ann H. Saulman, 63, of Morganton, NC died Monday, February 7, 2011 at the Burke Palliative Care Center following a period of declining health. Born in Burke County, NC on March 31, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Jack Henson and Ruby Beam Henson. Ann was a member of Catawba Valley Baptist Church and was a former employee of Summerset Studios.A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Ann is survived by her husband, Wayne Saulman of the home; sons, Greg Saulman and wife, Connie, Travis Dale Saulman, and Bradley Saulman, all of Morganton; sisters, Patsy Lane and husband, Holden, of Drexel and Hazel Whetstine and husband, Bobby, of Morganton; grandchildren, Carrie Long and husband, Ryan, Kelsey Saulman, Thomas Saulman, and Trevor Saulman, and Trevor’s mother, Emily McEntire, all of Morganton.The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Catawba Valley Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Odom and Rev. Clyde Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center until placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the funeral hour. At other times the family will be at the residence.
