Anna Cronk Carver

Anna Cronk Carver, 70 of Glen Alpine, NC passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was born October 23, 1947 in Catawba County, NC and was the daughter of the late William Joseph Cronk, Jr. and Ruth Elizabeth Williams Cronk. Anna was a member of Crosslink Church. She loved serving her church and the Lord. Anna was active in caregiving for senior adult ministry called Joy Givers. Anna loved her family immensely and showed it with sacrificial love throughout her life. She also loved playing bingo, and crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Although in retirement, Anna still had fond memories of the residents she served at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Delano Carver; first husband, Ronald Yates Greene; step-daughter, Debra Webb and brother, James Roland Rogers.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Hines and wife, Michelle; a daughter, Amanda Hines Landis and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Katy Michelle Laws Carver and husband, Marvin Franklin Carver, Corey Vernon Landis, Ashley Ann Landis, Sidney Michelle Landis, Madisen Elisabeth Hines, Tristan Michael Hines, and Allena Noele Hines; great-grandchildren, Tré Markus Carver, Skylar Leigh-Anna Self, and Hayden James Laws; and brothers, Charles Cronk and Thomas Cronk.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Crosslink Church with Rev. Jonathan Reece officiating. The family will fellowship at the church following the service.
