Anna Lee Henderson, 75, of Simpson Drive, Morganton, NC, died Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Grace Hospital following a period of declining health. Born June 13, 1930 in Buncombe County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Pearson Pritchard Henderson and Edna Dillingham Henderson. Anna graduated from Morganton High School in 1948 and was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son, Joseph D. Secrest, Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a brother, Phil Henderson and wife, Pat, of Pickens, SC; and a special cousin, Carolyn Hensley Denton of Morganton.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Michael Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends in the church following the service.
