my best friend. it’s been over a year. i never thought i would say this i’m starting to forget your ways. your hugs, your laugh, and more. i’m still grieving and i’m still lost in the heartache of not having you here. when your eyes closed and your breathing slowed, i wished, for a moment, that mine would too. the fear of oblivion was more comforting than the absence of you. you completed me. losing you made me lose apart of myself. until we meet again, i love you pal.
I am truly sorry for your loss of a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was always a sweetheart. I know your hearts are broken but I’m sure she left to you many wonderful memories and blessings! I’m praying for the entire family. God bless you with peace. Janell Wakefield .
On behalf of the students, faculty and staff of Converse University, we wish you peace and comfort. Please accept our condolences and heartfelt sympathies.
My earliest memory of Anne is playing at her house in her doll house. I begged my Dad to get me one and he tried but it wasn’t like Anne’s- hers was perfect just like her. Anne was always smiling and happy, never met a stranger . Eager to help everyone. Over the years she faced obstacles with strength and faith! Loved her family and friends. How we will miss her- God speed, our sweet Anne!! Patsy yount Gray
A lovely lady all her days during her journey …touching many lives encouraging them to be their best…A childhood friend and my big sister at Converse….a neighbor before she moved to be with her children….yes, a reflection of Christ in our lives. May God’s peace and love be a comfort to each of her family as they enter theses new chapters of life
With all respect, my deepest condolences to you and your families in the loss of your loved one. Id like to share a poem. When I am gone, release me Let me go I have so many things to see and do. You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears, Be happy, we had so many years. I gave you my love And you can only guess how much you have to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown but now it’s time I travel alone. So grieve for a while for me if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust. It’s only for a while that we must part, so bless those memories in your heart. I won’t be far away for life goes on, so if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near with all my live around you soft and clear. And then. When you must come this way alone, I’ll greet you with a smile and “Welcome You Hone” I pray that this poem gives you some peace. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Sheila Carter / Bayleigh Whitfield / Avery Whitfield
