Annie Laura Simpson Walker Bradshaw

Annie Laura Simpson Walker Bradshaw, 70, of Hillhaven Circle, Morganton, NC died on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at her residence following a period of declining health. Born in Burke County on November 1, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Frank Simpson and Della Eveline Watson Simpson.Annie was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She was a Christian of Methodist faith and enjoyed beautiful flowers.Annie is survived by daughter, Reba Perkins of Morganton; granddaughter, Christina Perkins of Morganton: brothers, Ivey Simpson of Morganton and Bobby Simpson of Lenoir; sister, Vivian Beach of Morganton; numerous nieces and nephews, and a beloved cat named Baby.The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home & Crematory Center with Reverend Brad Farnham officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Alpine Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
