Annie Lee Chapman

Annie Lee Chapman, 84, of Morganton, NC died Thursday, March 13, 2014 at her residence. Born in Burke County, NC on September 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Schyler and Lillie Huffman. Annie was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Nicholson of Morganton; grandchildren, Brandon Nicholson and his wife, Tipi, and Crystal Nicholson, both of Morganton; and two sisters, Lou Ellen Feimster and Evelyn Huffman, both of Morganton.In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Chapman; brothers, Dewey, William, and John Huffman; and a sister, Beulah Warren.The funeral will be held at 2pm, Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Price officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1-2pm prior to the service.Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
