Annie Lee Rich

Annie Lee Rich, 88, of Jewel St., Morganton, NC died Friday, January 04, 2008, at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born May 19, 1919 in Catawba County, NC, and was a daughter of the late Lee B. Drum and Vergie Cline Drum. Annie was a member of Morganton Seventh Day Adventist Church.She is survived by a son, Gary Rich and wife, Jackie, of Morganton; grandchildren, Phillip, Kelly, Paula, Adam, Patrick, and Heather; great grandchildren, Cody, Brent, Nicky, Matthew, Jessie, and Hunter; a brother, Calvin Drum of Newton, NC; and a sister, Ruth Cramartie of Matthews, NC.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tillman Monroe Rich; and seven brothers and sisters.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2008 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
