Annie Pearl Crawley Homan

Annie Pearl Crawley Homan, 96, of Valdese, NC passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022. Born August 30, 1926 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin L Crawley and Vera Keller Crawley. She retired from the telephone company and was a member of the Valdese Red Hat Club. Annie loved people and animals and was not afraid to speak her mind.

In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace R. Homan of Washington, DC, with whom she lived with until his death in Oxon Hill, MD. Subsequently, she made her residence in Florida and then moved to Valdese, NC in 1999. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Bobbie Sue Crawley and Ruth C. Grubbs; brother, Carl Crawley.

Annie is survived by a brother, James Crawley; sister, Betty Watkins; nieces, Denise Harris and Anna Ruth Kerley; nephew, C. Douglas Crawley.

A memorial service will be at 2:00pm on Friday, December 30, 2022 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Michael Webb officiating.
