Annie Sue Epley Gragg

Annie Sue Epley Gragg, 68, of Morganton, NC went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Valdese Hospital following a period of declining health. Born in Burke County, NC on September 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Arthur Epley and Annie Estelle Page Epley.She is survived by her husband, Darwin "Eddie" Gragg of the home; a daughter, DeAnna Gragg Abee and husband, Kevin, of Drexel; brothers, Larry Epley and wife, Diann, and Ernest Epley and wife, Margaret, both of Drexel; a sister, Linda Bryant and husband, Olen, of Drexel; and granddaughters, Lauren Nicole Abee and Kaitlyn Brooke Abee.In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Roy Epley, and an infant sister, Mary Elizabeth Epley.The funeral will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Smarts Grove Baptist Church with Reverends Charles Lewis and Don Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2012 at Burke Memorial Park.Memorial contributions may be made to Smarts Grove Baptist Church Mission Fund, 6497 Hwy 18 South, Connelly Springs, NC 28612.
