Arnita Rader Garrison, 95, of Morganton, NC went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Grace Heights. She was born in Burke County on July 15, 1922 to the late Charlie Rader and Lula Davis Rader. She was a member of Crosslink Church in Rutherford College, NC. She loved to work in her garden and on her farm. She loved her family very much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Garrison; brothers, Vernon Rader and Davis Rader; sisters, Mae Rhodes, Stella Suddreth, Annabel Hood, Gena Oliver and Georgie Jackson.
Arnita is survived by her son, Eddie Garrison and wife, Sheila, of Morganton; grandchildren, Dottie Cooper, Tamara Robinson and husband, Kenny, Trey Garrison and wife, Amy, Seth Garrison and wife, Brittanee; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph and Elisabeth Cooper, Courtney and Dillon Robinson, Kendell Little, Lacey and Blakelee Garrison; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m., Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Crosslink Church in Rutherford College. The service will be at 4 p.m. in the church with Pastor Jonathan Reece officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
