Barbara Countryman

Barbara Countryman, 80, formerly of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, January 29, 2018.  Born in Gulf County, FL on January 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Ernest Campbell and Virginia Garner Campbell.  Barbara loved Jesus and her family, and she had a heart of gold.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Vicki LeMaster of Morganton and Dr. Kim Marshman and her husband, Mason, of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy LeMaster and wife, Tracy, Rev. Shannon LeMaster-Smith and husband, Jonathan, Karla Mitchell and husband, Jerry, Kristen Countryman, and Kacey Johnson and husband, Steve; many great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly; brother, Mike Campbell and wife, Sue; and sisters, Linda Boyce, Pat Trifiletti and husband, Joe, and Elaine Folk.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Countryman; son, Tony Countryman; brothers, Danny and Ronnie Campbell; and sister, Joyce Thomas.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held 12:30 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Fort Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL with the Rev. Shannon LeMaster-Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family.
