Barbara Dale Williams

Barbara Dale Williams, 67, of Morganton, NC passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 15, 1950 in Burke County, NC to the late Robert Dal Dale and Hazel Brittain Dale.
Barbara was a member of Summit Community Church and retired from Western Piedmont Community College, where she enjoyed coordinating training for emergency personnel. She had a passion for serving the less fortunate through the Shepherd’s Kitchen and providing for animals in need through Burke Friends for Animals. Barbara cherished her family vacations at the beach.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Melissa Clark and husband, Jeff of Mocksville; granddaughters, Gracie and Mattie Clark; grandson, Jackson Clark; loving animal companions, Bunny and Maggie; and special cousins, Amy Seagle and husband, Steven and Cindy Hasson and husband, Mike and their children.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Dale.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Summit Community Church with Rev. Mike Chandler and Rev. Larry Thompson officiating.
