Barbara L. Goines

Barbara L. Goines, 71, of Foley, AL passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 following a period of declining health.  Born in Roanoke, VA on June 2, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Lewis LaGarde and Doris Virginia Murphy LaGarde.  Barbara was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Goines is survived by her sons, William David Goines, Jr. (Madge) of Morganton and Shawn Michael Goines of Foley, AL; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and many extended family.

The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Norman E. Jones officiating.  The family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, the American Red Cross, or Burke Hospice and Palliative Care.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
