Beatrice "Bee" Foss Cox, 90 of Grace Ridge went to be with Lord Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Mrs. Cox was born July 2, 1924 in Cook County , Illinois to the late George Harrison Snyder and Ruth Elizabeth Geisel Foss. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, an avid photographer, oil painter and loved to travel.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Cox and a daughter, Barbara Anne Weaver Frowe.
Mrs. Cox is survived by a brother, George Duncan Snyder and his wife, Nancy L Snyder of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church at a later date with inurnment in St. Luke's Episcopal Church Memorial Garden in Boone, NC. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Ridge Scholarship Fund, 500 Lenoir Rd., Morganton, NC 28655.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
