Betty Jean Stamey

Betty Jean Stamey, 77, of E. Union St. in Morganton died Monday, April 12, 2010 at Grace Hospital following a period of declining health. She was born January 28, 1933 in Burke County, and was the daughter of the late Ervin Alexander Stamey and Mary Brown Stamey.She is survived by a son, Gregory E. Stamey of Morganton.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 16, 2010 at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary Garner officiating. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
