Betty Keller Hart

Betty Keller Hart, 76, died Friday, March 4, 2011, at her home. She was born in Caldwell County on September 29, 1934 and was a daughter of Emma Elizabeth Osborne Keller of Morganton and the late George Washington Keller. Betty was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church and enjoyed her time with family and family gatherings, church activities especially the Open Hearts Bakery ministry, and reminiscing with old friends.Surviving in addition to her mother are her children and their spouses, Randy and Phyllis Hart, Kenneth and Tami Hart, and Crystal and David Berry all of Morganton, and Tommy Hart and partner, Abhinand Peddada of Los Gatos, CA; grandchildren, Tyler, Brett, Garrett, and Dillon Hart, and Jamie and Tripp Berry; and siblings, Vera Lail, Marie Woods and husband, Donald, Laverne Keller and wife, Gloria, Wanda Setzer, and Bill Keller; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.In addition to her father, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Hart, and by a sister, Mary Helen Ollis.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Boliek officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Sossoman Funeral Home & Crematory Center.
