Betty Sue Cline

Betty Sue Cline, 82 of Morganton, NC passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018. She was born October 28, 1935 in Burke County, NC and was the daughter of the late William Sidney Whisnant and Mamie Elizabeth Secrest Whisnant. Betty was a member of Central Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Rector; all her brothers; and her first husband, Edwin Sylvester Cline.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Walker; son, Dennis Cline and wife, Ronnie; and sister, Margaret Smith all of Morganton.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Burke Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
