Beverly G. Williams, 81, of Morganton, NC went to be with her Heavenly Father, Friday, March 15, 2024. Born on January 22, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Lewis O. Garrison and Leila P. Garrison. Beverly was a member of Burkemont Baptist Church and was a Godly woman. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family whom she loved very much. Beverly was an animal lover and loved to bird watch. She co-owned and worked at Garrison’s Store for fifty-three years. The family was always told by many that Beverly was the sweetest person they knew.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Debra Waddell (David) and Pam Martin (Randy); step-daughter, Barbara Jean Rinaman (Rick); step-son, Michael Williams; grandchildren, Spencer Martin (Margot) and Lucas Martin (Kelly); step-grandchildren, Jenny Kiker, Nick Williams, Nathaniel Waddell (Katy) and Clay Williams (Katelynn); step-great-grandchildren, Bella and Davidson Waddell, and Mick Johnston; and her feline companion, Precious; special thanks to her caregivers, Latisha, Suzy and Judy.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Landres Williams; brother, Norman O. Garrison.

A graveside service will be at 1pm, Monday, March 18, 2024 at Hopewell Baptist Church with Dr. Eddy Bunton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burkemont Baptist Church 4668 Burkemont Road, Morganton, NC 28655 or to Amorem Hospice, 1721 Enon Rd, Valdese, NC 28690.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Beverly was such a sweet soul, we were neighbors for about 8 yrs. Going to miss having you as a neighbor but we will all meet again one day in our heavenly mansion. We send our love and prayers for family and friends.
