Beverly Joan Roland

Beverly Joan Roland, 65, of Morganton, NC, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022.  Born in Burke County, NC on November 9, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Frank Jones Fleming and Betty A. McGalliard Fleming.  Beverly was a member of Calvin Heights Baptist Church.  She was a 911 dispatcher and member of REACT in Burke County for 27 years.  She was dedicated to serving the citizens of Burke County.  Beverly loved her family and taking trips to the beach.

She is survived by her son, Greg Tuttle (Patricia); grandchildren, Brandon and Christine Tuttle; and her feline companion, Evie.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Bridge42 Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Rogers officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to REACT.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
