Billie S. Prestwood

Billie S. Prestwood, 44, of Gibbs Street, Glen Alpine went to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 20, 2008. She was born in Burke County on May 24, 1963 and was a daughter of Bill and Barbara Prestwood of Glen Alpine. Billie was baptized at First Baptist Church in Glen Alpine and was raised in the Baptist faith.Surviving in addition to her parents are her daughter, Tara Mae Prestwood; her grandson, Timothy Jordan Saulman; her maternal grandmother, Essie Mae Epley; her sisters, Bobbi P. Biggerstaff and Charlotte P. Ramsey; nephews, Lance and Clay; and nieces, Tessa

and Sarah, all of Glen Alpine.The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Stroud and Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Alpine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
