Billy L. Cline, 73, of N. Berkley Road, Goldsboro, NC, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. Born December 24, 1933, he was the son of the late Robert W. Cline and Cleo C. Whitner Cline. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Marvin Cline, Nettie Dobson, Myrtle Gragg, James Cline, Eva Waters, Ruby Burgess, Beulah Huffman, and Robert Cline. Mr. Cline retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
Billy is survived by his wife, Evelyn B. Roche Cline of Morganton Long Term Care, Morganton, NC; sons, Ron Cline of Smithfield, NC and Robert Paul Cline of Goldsboro; a daughter, Sylvana Cline of Baton Rouge, LA; a brother, Howard Cline of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Betty Mathis of Morganton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2003 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
