Billy Ray Helms

Billy Ray Helms, 39, of Jenkins Rd., Morganton, NC died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at his residence. Born on July 27, 1970, he was the son of Margaret Workman Helms of Morganton and the late Daniel Thomas Helms.Billy is survived by his wife, Flossie Franklin Helms of the home; sons, Daniel and Timothy Helms; a daughter, Brianna Helms; a sister, Sarah Martinez; and nieces, Annie and Amanda.Billy was preceded in death by a brother, Robert T. Helms.The graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Calvary Memorial Gardens with Rev. Leonard Lindsey officiating. The family will receive friends at Sossoman Funeral Home from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
