Blanche Jones Sprinkle

Blanche Jones Sprinkle, 74, of Marion, NC died Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Born in McDowell County, NC on December 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Roosevelt Jones and Iva Louise Cogdill Jones. Blanche was a member of Burkemont Baptist Church. She was a loving and faithful pastor’s wife who taught Sunday school and loved the Lord, her family, and her church family.
Blanche is survived by her sisters, Wilma Trinks and her husband, Harold, Faye Thomas and her husband, Jack, Marie Wiggins and her husband, Larry, and Helen Cable and her husband, Bob, all of Marion; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Harold Lee Sprinkle; a brother, Hillard L. Jones; and a nephew, Charles Trinks.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Burkemont Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddy Bunton, Dr. David Mills, and the Rev. Dale Cable officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
