Bob Alexander, 74, of Morganton, NC passed away to be with the love of his life, Tammy Horton Alexander on Sunday, September 29, 2024. He was born on July 23, 1950 in Rowan County to the late Robert Alexander, Sr. and Willa Weaver Alexander. He was a member of North Morganton United Methodist Church where he was an active member of the choir, worked with the youth ministries and operated the sound system. He worked for Drexel Furniture, Cochrane Furniture and Caldwell Memorial Hospital from where he later retired. Bob was an avid gun and knife enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Lynn Horton Alexander.
Bob is survived by his children, Bethany Hope Alexander and Sean Christian Alexander (Paula); favorite granddaughter, Mila Rose Alexander; sister, Susan A. Linn.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-3pm Sunday, October 6, 2024 at North Morganton United Methodist Church. The funeral will begin at 3pm in the church with Rev. David Rorie officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
