I will truly miss my friend who taught me so many life lessons and gave of himself and took care of so many never looking for anything in return. His gentle nature, kind words, and a heart of gold will forever be with us. For Bob, with a Song in His Heart A heart as vast as summer skies, A soul that soared where eagles rise. Bob King, a friend, a steadfast guide, Whose faith and love forever abide. With rod in hand, and hunter’s glee, He found solace in nature’s sea. Illness’s storm, he faced with might, A warrior’s spirit, shining bright. He cared for others, selfless and true, A helping hand, a heart that knew. And in the sermon, a cherished sound, “The birds are still singing,” peace profound. Now he’s joined the chorus, sweet and clear, A melody of love, without a fear. Though absent from us, his spirit’s near, A guiding star, forever dear. Let’s celebrate a life well-lived, A legacy of kindness, deeply carved. Bob King, our friend, forever bright, Singing his song in eternal light.
