Bobbie Ann Johnson Woodie, 86 of Morganton, NC passed away, Wednesday, August 25, 2021, with her son by her side at his residence in Myrtle Beach, SC after a long battle with dementia. She was the daughter of the late Robert Johnson and Goldie Watson Johnson. Born in Avery, Co. on June 17, 1935. She retired from Broughton Hospital after 32 years. Bobbie was a member of First Baptist Church of Morganton. Special thank you to everyone in Agape Sunday School Class for all the calls, cards, thoughts and prayers. She had a great love for the Lord, her family, and her church. Bobbie enjoyed travelling with her husband, the love of her life.
Mrs. Woodie is survived by her son, Michael Woodie and wife, Tonua of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters, Clareice Dellinger of LA, CA, Marie Finley, Erin, TN.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ray Edward Woodie.
A celebration of Mrs. Woodies life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Agape Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Morganton.
