Bobby Ray Higgins

Bobby Ray Higgins, 65, of Lytle Dr., Morganton, died Saturday, November, 29, 2008 at Grace Hospital, after a period of declining health. He was born July 23, 1943, in Guilford County to the late Ray Higgins and Marie King Higgins. Bobby was owner of Bobs Mobile Home Movers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Dianne Daniels Higgins; and three brothers, Danny Higgins, Roger Higgins and Alan Jackson.Bobby is survived by two daughters, Lisa Dianne Higgins and Tim Rogers, of Morganton, Kimberly Higgins and David Johnson, of Lincolnton; a step-daughter, Donna Jean Koontz and her husband, Kenneth, of Lexington; grandchildren, Jeffery Ray Norman, Brittany Nicole Greene, Dustin Douglas Wyatt and Amber Dawn Wyatt; two step-grandchildren, Rodney Alton Lee and his wife, Jennifer and Donna Renee Surratt; three step-great grandchildren, Christain Brandon Lee, Grayson Lynn Lee and Jerry Wayne "Trey" Surratt, III; brothers Darrell and wife Joyce Higgins, of Trinity, NC, and Wade Higgins, of Raleigh.A private funeral service will be held at Sossoman Funeral Home with Chaplin Dennis Stamper officiating. Burial will follow at the Park Hill Memorial Gardens.
