Bobby Ray Street

Bobby Ray Street, 66, of Morganton, NC passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017. He was born May 15, 1951 in Rutherford County, NC and was the son of the late James David “JD” Street and Josephine Crain Smith. Bobby loved his grandkids, gardening, and all sports especially Tennessee Football. He enjoyed being with family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, RJ Smith; brother, Herman Dean Street; and sister, Kathy Boone.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Jeraldine Hudson Street of the home; daughter, Misty Street Carroll and husband, David; son, Johnathan “JD” Street and wife, Britt; grandchildren, Logan and Riley Street, Megan, Katherine, Grace, and Andrew Carroll, Megan Livingston; great-grandchildren, Christian, Gavin, Evelyn; brother, David Street and wife, Susan; sisters, Patsy Burnette and Dee Baker and husband, Alvin; and two special people in his life, Kelly Rice and Peyton Craven.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Rain Hill Wesleyan Church. A memorial service will follow at the church at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Lou Gardner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
