Bobby “UB” “Urkel” Rea

Bobby “UB” “Urkel” Rea, 68, of Morganton, NC died Thursday, October 5, 2017. Born in Georgia on October 13, 1948, he was the son of the late Lathan Walker Rea and Lucinda Ingram Rea.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Joan Graboski Rea of 35 years. Bobby was a wonderful and caring man who served in the US Army during Vietnam, worked for Pradco Mfg. in Ft. Smith, AR creating and manufacturing fishing lures, he also loved to cook especially barbecue, and was loved very much by his family and friends and will be missed tremendously.
Bobby is also survived by a brother, Jim Rea of California; sisters, Karol Coley of Boone, NC and Lucinda Lawson and husband, Jeff, of California; nieces, Trisha Rea, Charlotte and Kathlene Lawson, Diane Mimosa and husband, Kevin, Tami Crain and husband, Stan, Mary Adair and husband, Bobby; nephews, Carmon Coley and wife, Kathryn, Chris Coley, Tim Daughtery and wife, Lora, Jim Daughtery and wife, Robbie, Brian Fink and wife, Cheryl, and Michael Fink; and many great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., October 11, 2017 at Diane and Kevin’s home.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
