Bonnie Buff Wyatt

Bonnie Buff Wyatt, 78, of Morganton died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at her residence. Born in Burke County, NC on June 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Sanford Buff and Vastie Beaver Buff. Bonnie was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.Bonnie is survived by her husband, George Wyatt of the home; a daughter, Pat Harmon and husband, Bud, of Morganton; grandchildren, Mark Harmon and Sherry Lee, both of Morganton; four great-grandchildren, Ashley, Destiny, Courtney, and Jacob; and a brother, J. D. Buff and wife, Wilma, of Icard, NC.In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her first husband, Phifer Swink.The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2012 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Douglas Woody and Charles Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the home. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
