Brenda Dianne Higgins

Brenda Dianne Higgins, 64, of Lytle Dr., Morganton, NC died Friday, July 11, 2008 at Grace Hospital following several years of declining health. Born in Thomasville, NC on January 20, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Walter Harrison Daniels and Helen Inez Brewer Daniels. Brenda was employed for twenty-six years at Carolina Shoe and then worked for seven years at Ingles Supermarket. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Reid Daniels.Surviving are her husband, Bobby Ray Higgins of the home; daughters, Lisa Dianne Higgins and Tim Rogers of Morganton, Kimberly Dawn Higgins and David Johnson of Lincolnton, NC, and Donna Jean Koontz and her husband, Kenneth of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Jeffrey Ray Norman, Brittany Nicole Greene, Dustin Douglas Wyatt, Amber Dawn Wyatt, Rodney Alton Lee and his wife, Jennifer, and Donna Renee Surratt; great grandchildren, Christain Brandon Lee, Grayson Lynn Lee, and Jerry Wayne "Trey" Surratt, III; and a brother, Paul Harrison Daniels of Denton, NC.The funeral for Mrs. Higgins will be private.
