Brenda Lorene Epley

Brenda Lorene Epley, 71, of Morganton died Wednesday, April 10, 2019 after a period of declining health.  Born in Burke County, NC on August 22, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Claude Daves and Willie Mae White Daves.  Brenda was a member of Crosslink Church.

She is survived by her sons, Clinton Edward Epley, Lance Allen Epley, and Heath Eugene Epley; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Edith Hall and Marie Daves; and brothers, Wilton Daves, Marshall Daves (Donna), and Harold Daves (Carol).

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Daves.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Crosslink Church with Rev. Jonathan Reece officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care or Crosslink Church.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
