Brenda Tishan Gaither

Brenda Tishan Gaither, 43 of Morganton, NC died Monday, Septembr 8, 2014 at Grace Hospital. Born April 1, 1971 in Burke County, NC, she was a daughter of Kathy Baird Gaither and the late, Larry Warner. She was a Freedom High School graduate and enjoyed gardening and shopping. She was a member of Praise Assembly of God. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Adrian and Fannie Baird and by a lifelong friend, Becky Lane.
In addition to her mother she is survived by a brother, Gene Gaither of Morganton and a number of cousins and other extended family members.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2014 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with the Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the residence.
