Brian Adams

Brian Adams, 56, of Glen Alpine passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021.  Born in Burke County, NC on February 8, 1965, he was the son of the late Glen Ray Adams and Mary Lee Teague Adams.  Brian worked as the Director of Public Works for Glen Alpine.  He was a loving father and grandfather who cherished his memories with his family and friends and time spent in the mountains.

Brian is survived by his daughter, Kayla Adams and boyfriend, Josh Jackson; granddaughter, Mary Ella Jackson; fiancée, Kim Beck; son, Kevin Beck; daughter, Caitlin Beck; brother, Eric Adams; nephews, Seth, Mark, and Josh Adams; niece, Meredith Adams; and his many friends that are like family.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by a brother, Steve R. Adams; and a sister, Robbie Lynn Adams.

The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Praise Assembly of God.  A celebration of Brian’s life will follow at 3 p.m. in the church with Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating.  In honor of Brian’s memory, please wear a cockpit shirt or overalls.
