Brian Scott Seagle

Brian Scott Seagle, 45, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center. Brian was born in Burke County on July 5, 1966 and was a son of JoAnn Ratcliff Loggins of Morganton and the late James Wesley Seagle. He was a pharmaceutical representative for 22 years serving both the Butler Company and the Henry Shine Company. Brian was also a former technician with Healthy Pets.In addition to his father, Brian was preceded in death by brothers, Christopher William Seagle and David Allen Seagle, and by grandparents, John and Althea Seagle and Roy and Barbara Ratcliff.Surviving in addition to his mother are his sisters, Mary Ann E. Seagle of Morganton and Chana Seagle Van Meter and husband, Don, of Valdese; uncles, Bill Ratcliff and wife, Beverly, and Fred Seagle and wife Debbie; aunts, Pat Ratcliff, Susan Ratcliff, Velda Kibler, and Debbie Bianchi; niece, Maranda Seagle of Morganton; and a number of other nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Deviney officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home one hour before the service. At other times the family will be at the home of his mother, JoAnn Loggins.Memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home, PO Box 2608, Morganton, NC 28680 to assist the family will funeral expenses.
