Bronwyn Hope Piercy, 69, of Morganton, NC, died Thursday, April 25, 2019. She was born on January 15, 1950 in McDowell County to the late Archie Davis and Daisy Mae Davis. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to sing with her niece in the group, Whispering Hope. Bronwyn was a very faithful member of Conley Road Pentecostal Holiness Church, who loved and believed in the Lord. She was also a Sunday School teacher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Gene Piercy of the home; sons, Harold Gene Piercy and wife, Lisa, and Michael Lee and wife, Mary; daughter, Dawn Piercy; step-daughters, Connie Lynn Lawson and Janice Maynard; grandchildren, Tyler Branch, Katelyn Mallary, Karmin Branch, Tamara Wellman, Aaron Bolick, Emma Maynard, Curtis Huffman, and Chelsey Lee; sisters, Carolyn Davis and Harriet Davis.
The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm, Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Conley Road Pentecostal Holiness Church. The funeral will be at 3:00pm in the church with Pastor Kenneth Milam officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
