Byna Gwen “Bee Gee” Forbes Pearson

Byna Gwen “Bee Gee” Forbes Pearson, 46, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 23, 2018. Born on September 11, 1972, she was the daughter of Fay Causby Forbes and the late Richard Forbes.

“Bee Gee” was a loving wife, step mother and aunt. She was a graduate of Freedom High School and earned an Associate of Arts degree from Western Piedmont Community College. She enjoyed designing costumes for the Old Colony Players and for From This Day Forward.

“Bee Gee” is survived by her husband, Russell Pearson; sister, Anetra Forbes (Patrick); nephews, Brad and Johnathon Forbes; stepchildren, Chris, Katelyn, Lauren and Brenna Pearson; fur babies, Chloe, Pug-Nugget and Flynn; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Blaine and Dee Forbes and maternal grandparents, Virginia and Fred Causby.

The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home.
