Carolyn Berry Morgan, 78, of Marion, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
Born in Burke County, NC on November 12, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Lester Edwin Berry and Florence Edna Townsend Berry.
Carolyn was a devoted mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family. Her greatest joy came from spending quality time with her loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
An avid gardener, Carolyn found peace and happiness working outside in her yard. Her passion for arts and crafts was equally profound, particularly in making wreaths and floral arrangements that adorned her home and those of her friends.
Carolyn took great pride in maintaining a clean and orderly home, a reflection of her meticulous nature and love for creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Crystal Warren and Shannon Branch; son, Samuel Branch; grandchildren, Daniel, Terry, Max, Jason, Joshua, and Isabella; sister, Martha Warlick; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Morgan; common-law husband, Ronnie Branch brothers, Don and Wayne Berry; and sister, Audrey Allison.
Services for Carolyn will be private.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Martha, Sam and Family, Carolyn doesn't labor to breath or struggle to walk now. She has good company now, she is with my Don in the presence of Almighty God. My deepest sympathy. Linda
Deep heart-felt sympathy to her sister Martha and all the children and grandchildren. We practically grew up together, being 1st cousins almost the same age. Our greatest joy was to get to go home from church with each other and visit all Sunday afternoon. You are at home with the Lord. Hallelujah. Much Love, Cousin Patsy.

So so sorry to hear about Carolyn’s passing. My condolences to the family. May she rest easy in the arms of our Lord now. We love and miss u sweet Carolyn
