Carolyn Conner Patton

Carolyn Conner Patton, 43, of Boone, NC died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at her residence. She was born in Guilford County, NC on December 29, 1963 and was a daughter of Tom Conner of Morganton and Diana Young Hass. Mrs. Patton was a former employee of Molded Fiber Glass Co. and was a member of Middle Fork Baptist Church in Boone.Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Rev. George Patton, Jr., of the home; sons, Adam Beard of Morganton and Joseph Patton of Boone; a daughter, Marie Beard, of Morganton; sisters, Debra Causby and Linda Conner both of Morganton, and Rhonda Black of Valdese; a half brother, Tyson Conner of Morganton and a grandson, Nathan Beard, of Morganton.A funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2007, at Middle Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Whray officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. On Sunday, July 8, 2007 a funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Hopewell Baptist Church in Morganton with Rev. Homer Murdock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. On Saturday, July 7, 2007, the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home.
