Carolyn Hamrick McCall

Carolyn Hamrick McCall, 79, of Drexel went home to Heaven on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.  Born in Gaston County, NC on May 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joe Thomas Hamrick and Mary McDaniel Hamrick.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Lynn McCall Perkins and husband, Howard; son, Tommy McCall and wife, Sheila; granddaughter, Debra Lynn McCall and fiancé, Dean Haney; brother, Bill Hamrick and wife, Carolyn; sister, Sue Blackwelder and fiancé, Kenny Baker; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee McCall; and brother, Donald Hamrick.

The family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.  The funeral will follow at noon in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rabbi Cliff Maynard officiating.
