Carry Mae Cox Dale

Carry Mae Cox Dale, 71, of Morganton went to be with her maker on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte following a period of declining health. Born November 27, 1939 in Polk County, she was the daughter of Nellie Mae Cox Stafford of Rutherfordton, NC. Carry was preceded in death by a son, William Treadway and a daughter, Louise Treadway. She was a former employee of Breeden Poultry and also Carolina Shoe.She is survived by sons, Vernon Dale and Jerome Dale, both of Morganton; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and brothers, Dave, Leroy, and Jerry Cox, and Ray and Marvin Stafford.A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home.
