Catherine P. Crawley

Catherine P. Crawley, 90, of Morganton, NC went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Grace Hospital. Born in Burke County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Harrison A. Pritchard and Ester Ethel Bean Pritchard. Catherine was a member at River Side Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and loved to crochet and sew for them.Catherine is survived by a daughter, Judy Fisher; brother, Bennett Pritchard both of Morganton; sisters, Virginia Engle of Morganton, Martha Orders of Glen Alpine, NC; grandchildren, Renee Fisher, Alan Fisher, Deborah Fisher Icard and her husband, Dean; great-grandchildren, Christopher Fisher, Cory Wheeler all of Morganton’ great-great-grandchild, Spencer Fisher; and a special sister-in-law, Marie Russell of Clyde, NC.In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Obie Crawley; granddaughter, Pamela Fisher, and a number of brothers and sisters.The funeral will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Bess and Steve Michaels officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.
