Cathy Williams Marshall, 58, of Morganton, NC, answered the call and went to Heaven on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
Born in Virginia on June 30, 1965, she was the daughter of Gaile Campbell Williams and the late Rev. George Ervin Williams. Cathy was a member of Mt. Harmony Church where she sang in the choir and had testimony for everyone. Her faith never faltered. Cathy worked as a pharmacy technician at Grace Hospital for several years.
In addition to her mother, Cathy is survived by her husband, James Marshall; daughter, Makayla Johnson; grandson, Kingston Cox; sister, Debra Bush (Brian); brother, Rev. John Fredrick Williams (Loretta); and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Cathy was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Gaile Williams.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Mt. Harmony Church. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in the church with Rev. Freddie Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
