My name is Karen Clark. My mother was Sue Ledford. She and Charles worked together at Burke construction. They were very good friends and loved going out to eat with the other Burke construction people. He was a very kind soul. Karen Ledford Clark

What a blessing Charles has been to us. We've never met a kinder or more gentle man. We are so glad that God had our paths cross. We felt his love for us and he often shared his appreciation for our service North Morganton Baptist. He is already greatly missed and our memories will be cherished ones.

Donna and I loved Charles in so many ways. He was a wonderful friend, Christian brother who always had a smile and kind word to everyone. Charles always supported me when I would sing and you could feel how he loved God through his love for others. We will miss you for now, but will see you again my friend.
